Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Tokyo Sushi-Making Tour, we believe our responsibility goes beyond offering fun and memorable experiences. We are committed to contributing to a sustainable future, ensuring that the richness of our planet and culture can be passed on to the next generation.
We fully support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are taking concrete actions in the following three areas.
Reducing Food Waste
As a business that deals with food, we take the efficient use of limited resources seriously.
- We purchase ingredients in minimal quantities, based on the exact number of participants and the day’s program.
- To reduce leftovers, we do not schedule classes outside typical mealtimes.
- All sushi is prepared by participants themselves, allowing them to make only what they intend to eat.
These small but meaningful steps help protect the environment and conserve marine resources.
Supporting Non-Profit Organizations
We believe that giving back to society is an important part of our mission. A portion of our revenue is donated to NPOs tackling urgent global challenges, including:
- Humanitarian aid for children and families in conflict zones
- Nutritional support for undernourished children
- Educational and welfare programs for children’s rights
- Initiatives addressing global food insecurity
- Access to safe water and improved sanitation
- Protecting the rights and independence of girls
- Combating the impacts of climate change on children
- Empowering youth through skills training and self-reliance
By participating in our classes, you’re also contributing to these global efforts.
Offering Kid-Friendly Sushi Classes
We are committed to inspiring the next generation by providing opportunities for children to learn about Japanese food culture in a fun and safe environment.
- Kid-friendly classes with simplified steps and hands-on activities
- Promoting food education and cross-cultural understanding
- Creating opportunities for children to learn, connect, and grow
Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable society together with future generations.
